On the morning of Sarah and Scott’s wedding day Neil and I arrived at Stapleford Park and I joined the girls whilst they got ready in one of the beautiful bedrooms. It was one of the many wet and rainy July days that we had, however the park and house still looked so very beautiful. Neil joined the guys as they arrived from Nottingham, they enjoyed breakfast before getting ready then photographs in readiness for the guests arriving.
Behind the scenes Tillyboo Events had been styling and ready coordinating the day, the orangery and reception room were looking amazing, which was enhanced by the stunning displays from Tineke Floral Designs.
The bouquets by Tineke arrived up to the room and after hair and make up were finished it was time for Sarah and her father to take the beautiful walk down the staircase. Each step was a little emotional for Sarah, the last minute rush of getting ready and the excitement probably had it’s moment, but by the last step, she was ready to meet the registrars and then take the little drive from the house to the orangery.
It was Scott’s turn to get a little emotional as Sarah walked down the aisle, then a wonderful ceremony followed and with a little magic the rain had stopped for us all to follow Sarah and Scott over to St Mary Magdalene’s church, which is located within the magnificent 500 acres of Capability Brown landscape gardens of Stapleford Park.
From here we returned back to the orangery for drinks as the rain came down once more, it was then time for dinner and as the rain stopped between courses we took opportunity of it and had a little walk around the grounds with Sarah and Scott before the speeches. A welcomed little moment as we could step outside and enjoy the grounds.
The speeches were heart felt and comical then it was outside again for some documentary photographs whilst the weather seemed to keep nice. To end our day we captured dancing to Campbell Bass .
Scott and Sarah, we wish you all the happiness, we enjoyed your day so very much and it has been a real joy to be a part of your day. Neil & Becky x
