Chinese Wedding of Hannah and Michael at Oulton Hall
We were very excited to capture the Chinese wedding of Hannah and Michael at Oulton Hall in Leeds, it started with early morning bridal preparations in Hannah’s room at the beautiful Oulton Hall. The room was a hive of activity as the girls were getting ready, meanwhile Neil was capturing Michael and all his grooms men arrive. The games before the ceremony between the boys and girls were fab to capture, which are traditional before the groom gets to meet his bride before they marry. They were so much fun, we both were laughing buckets as we photographed them!
The wedding ceremony took place down the grand staircase and in one of the suites overlooking the Oulton Hall gardens. We had a really tiny window of a dry spell, before the heavens truly opened and didn’t then close for the remainder of the day. After reception drinks and photographs at Oulton Hall, everyone then headed over for the reception dinner at Oriental City, with Hannah and Michael driving in the Porsche Speedster. With the restaurant filled with guests, over a period of two dinner sittings included celebrations with 600 wedding guests. With so much to capture and traditional celebrations to the day, we felt very privileged to be a part of it all. Hannah and Michael are a wonderful couple and with a total of 4 stunning dress changes, Hannah looked amazing wearing each style.
