Becky Butterworth, on June 13th, 2013 Andrew and Natalie enjoy a very beautiful Norwood Park wedding day in the idyllic Nottinghamshire town of Southwell.
Natalie & Andrew’s wedding day was filled with wonderful english charm, decoratively scented with lavender. They married at the stunning Norwood Park in Southwell Nottinghamshire, one of my all time favorite wedding venues, its described as being quintessentially english. We were blessed with the english weather, some heavy rain yet we’re never defeated by it are we? and as soon as it cleared we headed outside. Then there is Andrew, his friendly fun nature matched with Natalie the english rose, completes a beautiful couple who we’ve been delighted to capture and follow on their wedding journey.
I joined Natalie and the girls at her mums home, where they were collected in picture style by the beautiful Dennison Classic Cars to enjoy their drive by the super husband and wife team, Jo and Peter. Inside Andrew was waiting for his bride in the guest filled ceremony room as Natalie and her bridesmaids made it inside before the rain came.
The ceremony was filled with love and laughter, with friendly registrars and was followed by everyone enjoying a celebration drink before spilling outside to capture a few group photographs. After many congratulations we spent some time together with Andrew and Natalie photographing them around the beautiful house, with it’s fine staircase and glorious courtyard.
The reception room was filled with amazingly pretty flowers, Kerry and her team at Tineke Floral Designs had really created a special room into something very extra special, it complimented the beautiful bouquets of Natalie and her brides perfectly. There sitting perfectly was the elegant cake, by Yummy Little Cakes, finished with sprigs of lavender After a very emotional set of speeches we fondly departed whilst everyone enjoyed their fabulous Norwood Park food.
Andrew and Natalie, we wish you all the vey happiness, we know your journey as husband and wife will be filled with so much fun, love and laughter, you’ve got that sparkle! Becky & Neil x

Becky Butterworth, on June 13th, 2013 Mark and Keely joined us at the Mill studio for their Nottingham Engagement Shoot.
Keely and I used to go to secondary school together, those ten years since leaving have really flown haven’t they Keely! (ha ha). It was fab when she contacted me to say she’d set a date for her wedding day at Aston Hall Hotel in Sheffield, so I was delighted to welcome her to the Mill Studio last week to meet Mark and capture their Nottingham engagement shoot.
We strolled from the studio, through the local mills until we reached the park, walking a long the tree lined path, it was a good little warm up for their half marathon training!
Mark and Keely it was great to catch up with you, I’ve very excited to be capturing your wedding day this summer and I’m really looking forward now to meeting your children on the day too! Speak soon, Becky x

Becky Butterworth, on June 11th, 2013 A preview of David and Lynsey’s Nottinghamshire engagement shoot at the beautiful Newstead Abbey.
I had a lovely afternoon catching up with Lynsey and David at Newstead Abbey recently. As we walked around the colourful grounds of Newstead, we chatted about their summer wedding day plans. For the school holidays it was wonderful and quiet there wandering through the walled garden and glorious Abbey.
Hearing how David and Lynsey’s wedding plans are really creating their beautiful day, I’m getting very excited to be capturing it for them at Kelham House Country Manor Hotel very soon!

Becky Butterworth, on June 10th, 2013 Here’s our story of the Nottingham wedding day of Jonathan and Jane who married this weekend in Teversal Nottingham.
We enjoyed a beautiful day for Jonathan and Jane’s wedding day, Becky started with bridal preparations at their home, whilst Neil met with Jonathan and the guys at St Katherines church in Teversal. The house was a busy atmosphere of bridesmaids, hair and make up stylists and waiting for someone to be brave enough to steam Jane’s dress for her. Jane arrived at the church in a beautiful horse drawn carriage, which then took her and Jonathan for a little drive around the Nottinghamshire countryside after their wedding ceremony. The ceremony was filled with lovely songs, some with a nice little beat that I could see Jane really getting in to … yep, saw ya! Once back from their carriage ride, everyone spilled out onto the lawn to enjoy drinks in a little weekend sunshine.
The reception was held on the grounds located at the side of St Katherines, just in front of the spectacular Teversal Manor. We were fortunate to be able to go inside Teversal Manor grounds for some photographs with Jonathan and Jane, its a stunning place! Then after dinner there was a surprise visit from Jane’s horses, having held back the tears throughout the day, this then started them!
Huge congratulations Jane and Jonathan, we wish you all the very happiness for the future together with your beautiful family. x
Big thanks to Kerry of Tineke Floral Designs (AKA the flower sheriff) for her beautiful florals, as always but especially on this day for her best friend Jane.
