Priest House Hotel Wedding Photographers

The beautiful Autumn wedding of Leanne and Michael took place at The Priest House Hotel, nestled by the river Trent in its quiet secluded land in Derbyshire. We were chosen as their Derby wedding photographers right at the beginning of 2011 and it’s been really lovely getting to know Leanne & Michael, especially during their engagement shoot at Hardwick Hall.

I joined Leanne and the girls while they were getting ready up on the top floor of the Priest House, it was a real hive of activity as the room was buzzing with Leanne’s relatives who’d made the trip from the North of the UK. Meanwhile Neil met with Michael and the guys as they made their final preparations before heading to the ceremony room.

It appeared a really thoughtful moment for Leanne and her dad as they made the walk from her suite, down the double staircase and into the ceremony room. Using our documentary wedding photography style we captured this journey and the ceremony that was watched by some very proud family members.

After we spilled outside for a few photographs, everyone relaxed to the voice of Jason Hart as they chatted and tucked in to canapes.  Tillyboo events had behind the scenes styled and created a beautiful autumnal reception room for Leanne and Michael, it was the perfect touch of colour for the time of year, brought to life by the twinkly lights!

Once dinner was over, it was downstairs for the evening reception and party, where Jason was ready to start the night off with a few sets!  After capturing a few dances we left everyone to carry on enjoying what had been a perfect day.

Leanne & Michael, congratulations, what a wonderful wedding day, we wish you all the very happiness together on your wonderful journey together as Mr & Mrs Pitman.
