Nottingham Carriage hall wedding photographers capturing the story as it unfolds
I started the day capturing Sam’s bridal preparation just down the road from where I live the closest I’ve ever had to travel. It was great, Sam was feeling relaxed during the morning enjoying the time being pampered.
Sam looked stunning as final preps were completed and the tears of joy from bridesmaid Laura confirmed how beautiful they all were. Well on time Peter from Dennisons Classic Cars arrived to chuffer Sam to St John’s Church, Colston Bassett. Dave was equally impressive all suited and booted waiting for his bride to be to arrive.
The ceremony was nice and personal, it was great to see Sam & Dave smiling and looking at each other. As it was time to leave the church and head to Nottingham’s Carriage Hall wedding venue there was one last story to capture – the confetti shot, both Sam & Dave was repeatedly fired upon.
Once arriving at Carriage hall they were greeted by bag pipes playing and drinks waiting. I managed to grab the main group shoots just before the heavens opened.
The wedding breakfast seemed to be enjoyed by all and with my sweet tooth the Eton Mess was fantastic. After the speeches we got out and about the grounds of Carriage Hall to capture some of Sam & Dave signature images.
Finally to round off such a fabulous daywe shot Sam & Dave’s first dance.
I was truly thankfully for being part of Sam & Dave’s wedding day and capturing the story of the day as the day unfolded. Becky and I wish you all the very best for the future together.
