Last Saturday we captured the fabulous wedding day of the new Mr & Mrs Bailey – otherwise known as Bev and Andy! It was a rainy day, but what the heck it doesn’t spoil a thing!!
They had their ceremony and reception at Morley Hayes, Derbyshire but I started first of all at Bev’s parents house for the bridal preparations with Neil joinied the lads on the driving range (putting golf balls from a basket in my words!). Bev looked AMAZING, and with Beth, Laura and Katie to help her get ready it went like a dream at the house. A big thanks too to Bev’s mum who made me feel SO welcome, in fact if I were ever to pass by her house I’d find it difficult not to jump out the car, bang on the window and give her a big wave!!
One particularly special moment for me was watching Bev come into the ceremony with her dad, then as Bev’s dad left Bev with Andy at the ‘Altar’ he shook Andy’s hand, a proud moment for him I could see. He then sat with mum and looked on with love as they said their vows!
I was also very happy to hear that Andy had taken his inspiration for his ‘Groom’s speech’ from Homer Simpson … brought a great chuckle of laughter to the room!!
