As a wedding photographer in the UK the weather is always going to challenge you to deliver great images in the cold, wet, windy, snowy months and it’s spring after all. The key is to have fun and enjoy yourselves.
When I meet with Erin and Pete last year and they decided to book me for their 2012 summer wedding I was delighted to be involved. I captured their engagement shoot a few weeks ago the day after the hard snow fall. We headed to Dovedale in Derbyshire and walked along the stepping stones, the mountains were covered in snow however the ground was clear with some nice sunshine yet freezing cold water. This did not stop Erin and Peter taking a dip in the water and having a splash, mainly splashing in the direction of Pete.
The action did not stop there Pete tried to climb every hill top with various degrees of success but in between the fun you can see the love they both share for each other and the special day I feel glad to be part of. Roll on their wedding day at Shottle Hall
Here’s a small selection of my favourite images from Erin & Pete’s engagement photo’s from Dovedale. Please feel free to comment and share on your social networks.
If you are considering having a Shottle Hall wedding then please contact Becky or Neil to discuss how we can capture your engagement photography and wedding day
