Creating Your Group Photograph List

Our style of photography as shown on our blog and website shows weddings that have allocated time to include a mixture of group photographs, documentary and two of you time images.

Your group photographs are the more formal shots of you with your guests, they are usually captured after the ceremony before your wedding breakfast. Our experience tells us that a list of eight group photographs takes around 30 minutes to organise and capture, this will then typically allow for sufficient time to document you and your guests chatting and mingling together and time for photographs with just the two of you. We have also found that after around thirty minutes of group photographs couples are ready for a drink, canapé and to chat with their guests.

We’ve provided an example list below as a guide, you may have step families and your own children to add to the list, but we hope it provides a little help in where to start.

Please Contact us if you need any further help or if you are struggling to keep your list to around eight groups.
