I captured Vicky & Matt’s wedding at Nottingham Lakeside Tower which was originally built as a Victorian pumping station, now it’s become the place for love and marriage ….. and some lush purple for this day.
I started at Vicky’s parents house for the bridal preparations with bride and bridesmaids all to be laced into their dresses they’d opted to take advantage of the lady at the bridal store coming over and fitting them into them suitability and beautifully. I was lapping up the wonderful shades of purple that Vicky had chosen for the bridesmaids and within her flowers.
It was then over to the Lakeside Tower to meet the guys and capture the ceremony, which included personal readings by Matt and Vicky to one another. Then it was outside undercover from the warm rain as it sprinkled down during Pimms time. It wasn’t too long before the clouds parted and the sunshine came, time for some family shots and a walk around the lake, with Vicky bare foot with the damp grass at her toes!
After heart felt speeches and cutting of the cake it was time to depart and let the two families celebrate.
Matt & Vicky, we wish you all the happiness for the future its been a real joy getting to know you and spending time with you and your families. Becky xxx
My special thanks to Wayne Robinson for joining and working with me on the day, it’s fabulous to have him as part of our team!
