I’m writing these blog posts as a personal account for me to look back on, I know I will never forget this wedding for many reasons but I want to look back on the details. Take time to read or just peek at the images, I hope that they alone will show what a personal journey I went on and what a fabulous wedding that Rebekah and Richard had in the breathtakingly stunning Tuscany.
Before I start with the details I want to make many thank yous. Firstly of course to Rebekah and Richard for being an amazing couple, for making me so very welcome, providing me with the most beautiful accommodation and arranging my transport, and of course for having the most perfect wedding day!! then to all their guests, I knew within minutes of arriving that this was going to be a fabulous couple of days and I’d enjoy staying with with you all. Finally to the fabulous Giorgio and his family of Terre di Nano, for being the most amazing hosts, for providing the most idyllic setting and wonderful food!
I met ‘Beks and Rich’ a few months back, it was a different kind of wedding consultation, not only were they looking at my style of work but I guess they also had to make the decision if they felt comfortable enough to have me stay with them and their 25 guests in a remote villa. I was over the moon when I was told they wanted me to join them, the fact that I hate being more than 10 feet off the ground wasn’t even going to prevent me from making the flights without anyones hand to squeeeeze!
After a great flight to Perugia my arrival in Tuscany was no disappointment, it has always been number one on the places for me to visit and it was all I had imagined and then lots more. The lushness of the land, the beautiful homes and towns and no sign of a Tesco or Ikea superstore popping through the vast hills. Turning up the drive to the villa – Terre Di Nano, lined with amazing trees took me back to the Gladiator film and then I was totally overwhelmed when I saw just how much Italian beauty my home for the next couple of days had and what out of this world views it had in every direction.
It was fabulous to meet Beks and Richard again this was just the second time we’d seen each other yet it all felt so right, they looked glowing on the italian sun, so happy and very excited!!!
Here’s some images of what I was welcomed with …. wedding images to come!! xx
